The Abington Witch : The original inhabitant of the Haunt lands where she lived in a small cottage hidden deep in the woods. A quiet woman most of the time, it was said that she was part of a strange cult that used its powers only in self defense. After her neighbor, Mary Beemer, mysteriously disappeared one rainy Halloween night, Mayor Boettcher and a group of angry Abington townspeople set out to find and destroy the witch. They succeeded in burning her cottage to the ground, but the witch was nowhere to be found.
